What are the different types of placements that I can expect to find on the portal?

Can I apply for an internship while still studying?
You must complete your studies before starting an internship, as the courses can be intensive.
What does a host employer do?
A host employer guides learners by;
Provides learners with real-world problems they will work on for example developing, analysing the website or developing marketing strategies.
Provides support and mentorship throughout the placemen
What do I need to be accepted as a host employer?
- A registered business, organization, or institution.
- A suitable workplace where participants can be hosted and supervised.
- A designated mentor or supervisor to guide participants during their placement.
- Meaningful work activities aligned with the participant’s area of study or programme requirements.
- Compliance with relevant workplace health, safety, and labour regulations.
- The ability to provide the required documentation during the registration process.
As a registered NGO can I still apply to become a host employer?
Any company can be a host employer for our learners, begin a host employer is fully funded by SETA.
